I enjoy the entrepreneurial lifestyle—the challenge of making my own way, and the flexibility to be available when clients need me. Sometimes it allows me to pursue my other interests: playtime with my son, volleyball, the arts, snowboarding, travel. But mostly I get to work with the wonderful people in my community.
I created this law firm in 2012. Since then, I have counted myself lucky to partner with my clients—many of whom are my neighbors—to coach them through the legal decisions that support their thriving businesses, creative endeavors, and families.
I took a winding road to get here, but the sum of my experience bears on each contribution I make to a client’s matter. I have worked as an outdoor photographer, communications and fundraising contributor for environmental and legal nonprofits, law clerk to a King County Superior Court Judge, a consultant on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and now almost a decade as an attorney.
